When I’m creating a WordPress blog or website, I usually look first for a responsive theme. What’s “responsive”? That simply means that the design will recognize and adapt (or “respond”) to the device it’s being viewed on, whether a desktop mega-monitor, an iPad, or a smart phone.
For example, here’s what the responsive theme Anthem looks like on three different devices:
As you can see, when the browser window gets smaller, the page layout changes, by getting rid of the sidebar and then reducing the size of the images.
